The Reverend Father Robert Roethel is the Pastor of Church of the Holy Cross. Father Bob was born and reared in St. Joseph, Michigan. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Tri-State University in Angola, Indiana and a Master of Ministry Degree from St. Michael’s Seminary in San Clemente, California.
In 1988 Fr. Bob moved to Georgia. In 2001 he was ordained as a deacon and in 2006 he was ordained into the priesthood. Father Bob is married to Patricia Roethel. Father Bob’s son, Robert is a college student. Father Bob also has a step-son and a step-daughter and five step-grandchildren. He began his service as Pastor of Church of the Holy Cross in 2013.
The Reverend Canon Paul Massey is the founding Vicar, or pastor, of Church of the Holy Cross. Canon Paul spent over thirty years in various lay-ministry positions in Atlanta area churches, during which time he served as a school principal and later as president & CEO of a large non-profit organization. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1999 and began Church of the Holy Cross in 2004. He holds degrees from Carson-Newman University and Georgia State University.
Dr. Judy Massey serves as Minister of Missions and Evangelism. She has led numerous mission trips to countries in Africa and Asia. She is a much sought after speaker and has enjoyed an active ministry to women for many years. She holds degrees from Carson-Newman University, Georgia State University and Regent University. She is the author of three books.
Elaine Holloway was born in Savannah, Georgia and grew up in a small town near Savannah. She is a Commissioned Minister of Music and Worship in the Charismatic Episcopal Church and serves as Praise & Worship Leader of Church of the Holy Cross. She attended Andrew College as a piano major. In 1974 Elaine married Pastor John Holloway (now deceased) who later became the first Bishop of the Mid-South Diocese of the Charismatic Episcopal Church. Elaine has three sons, Jarrod, Jacob and Josiah, and one daughter, Hannah.
