The founding Vicar, or pastor, of Church of the Holy Cross is the Reverend Father Paul Massey. Father Massey spent over thirty years in various lay-ministry positions in Atlanta area churches, during which time he served as a school principal and later as president & CEO of a large non-profit organization. He was ordained in 1999 and began Church of the Holy Cross in 2004. He has degrees from Carson-Newman College and Georgia State University.
Dr. Judy Massey serves as Minister of Missions and Evangelism. She has led numerous mission trips to countries in Africa and Asia. She is a much sought after speaker and has continued an active ministry to women over many years. She has degrees from Carson-Newman College, Georgia State University and Regent University.
The Masseys have two grown children and three grand-children. They have lived in Fayette County since 1988.
